Got bank? Or just trying to get milk?

 We’ve gotten on line for free cheese.  We’ll stand on line in the cold and rain for free tickets to a movie, even when we’re not guaranteed a seat in the theater.   So what’s next America? 

Our President has promised us many things during his campaign and since he’s made it in the White House.  He’s come through on some and working on others.  But this isn’t about whether or not he’s doing a good job.  The promise that has most folks talking is the stimulus plan.  A plan intended to boost our failing economy.  Now how building a super computer or starting a smoking cessation program is supposed to do that is beyond most of our political minds; we’ll leave that to the tax evaders at the Capitol.  Many still question why only big banks got to use funds from the last bailout to pay for sand and sangria filled conferences while the rest of us were buying salt to keep our driveways snow free.

However, like so many other law abiding and non-abiding Americans, it’s felt that we’ve earned a piece of the pie since we’ve all done moved up especially on the East side.  Let’s hope Americans will step up and spend wisely so the benefits will be long term.  We’ll all be watching in the weeks after these long awaited checks have been cashed to see if sales have gone up at Macy*s thus saving our dying economy and fattening whose pockets…..?  I know I wanna get that coat that hasn’t come out yet at J. Crew so I can keep up with the Jones’!
