Ok so I’m not one to gossip and neither is RBMVibes, but there’s a lot going on out there in the streets as things heat up. Here go a few of the most noteworthy. If you know something we don’t know-well like I said, i’m not one to gossip and i’m not telling you what to do but knowledge is power (that’s code for leave a comment below;)

*Rihanna -back and ready to record. I guess all her quality time with the level headed Katy Perry has paid off. Does that mean her next album will be more pop or will she reach deep within like Mary J. Blige did after all her drama?

*Method Man and Redman-will fans buy there upcoming cd, “Blackout II” dropping 5/19/09, for Meth’s smooth voice, Red’s lyrics or as the soundtrack to burn a lil’ “something” to?

*Guy and Blackstreet -recording new material. Will the 30 and over crowd still swoon for these crooners? Will anyone get hurt practicing their “No Diggity” choreography? Better yet will either group actually release something?

*Asher Roth -on the wake of being tolerated by the hip hop community, this young white Jewish rapper posts an Imus like message on Twitter, “Been a day of rest and relaxation, sorry twitter – hanging out with nappy headed hoes.” (as reported by www.allhiphop.com) Then it’s deleted from his thread….scandolous! Will he be dealt with like Imus or will the hip hop community let him slide if the allegations are true just beacuse he scored some cool points?
