RBMVibes is an EOE and as such we’d like to celebrate with all our equal opportunity patrons, Happy Cinco de Mayo! As festive a day as this is, contrary to the wet and overcast NYC weather, we know an opportunity for a good celebration when we see one. But before we start celebrating that’s find out why so we can really enjoy ourselves and get a question right on Jeopardy.
Cinco de Mayo marks the Mexican army’s victory over the French in Puebla, Mexico on May 5, 1862. Even though the Mexican army was outnumbered they were able to beat the French who hadn’t lost in over 50 years! If that’s not worth celebrating then I don’t know what is.
