So Three Thousand and Eight

Yep, they’re so three thousand and eight while we’re still thinking about 2008. The Black Eyed Peas have been known for their infectious and yes, at times futuristic style, for as long as they’ve been on the music scene. And while some lament their transition from more socially conscious songs (like the Grammy nominated “Where is the Love?”) to dance floor hits (like the Grammy winning “My Humps”), it must be admitted that their music is brilliant on all counts. And while we’re still here in the present, the super group will be releasing their fifth album for us in 2009, called The E.N.D. which stands for The Energy Never Dies.
The members of the group are super musician and producer will.i.am, songstress Fergie, and the ever important apl.de.ap and Taboo who don’t get enough love as they should. So far only one song has been released off of the album, “Boom Boom Pow” and it has achieved success on the airwaves, is bumping in the clubs and also serves as the background commercial for the Desperate Housewives commercials. Stay tuned to RBMVibes.com as we bring you the new releases off the album that deserve special mention and also be on the lookout for a write up on the prolific work of will.i.am within and outside of the Black Eyed Peas. Until then, get that Boom Boom Pow.
