Mr. Vegas is known for his infectious tunes and catchy hooks. A sampling of work from his career: Heads High, Hot Wuk, Raging Bull, Tek Weh Yuhself shows an artist known for fun, if sometimes racy, music.The lastest set of music we’ve seen from him is no exception. Latest to rise on the US scene is “I Am Blessed” a song with a Revival music sound that you just may hear popping up in a church near you on a Sunday. The chorus runs: ” I am blessed, I am blessed. Everyday of my life I am blessed. When I wake up in the morning and when I lay my head to rest, I am blessed.”

But don’t be deceived, Mr. Vegas is not taking the Grace Thrillers/Papa San route in the rest of his music. While he honors God in “I Am Blessed” the rest of his music takes on different subjects. “Sassa Step” is yet another dance song, for which he’s even hosting a video contest and flying the winner to Jamaica to film the video. On” Old School Hustling”, featuring Lil Jon off the Kilamanjaro mix, we’re back to guns, weed and the hustlers lifestyle with an extra dose of Jamaican pride. Overall, the music still has a cool party vibe and unlike Hot Wuk, you don’t have to feel too bad about playing it in mixed company.

And in giving props where props are due, we must comment Mr. Vegas on his website. Definitely one of the better one’s we’ve seen for reggae artists. Do check it out: (www.mr-vegas.com)
