You believed her when she told you, ” I will always love you.” But, you doubted when all you could hear her say was, “hell to the no!” However, Whitney’s back-looking like black don’t crack, but I jest and digress. After a tumultuos life and career, Whitney Houston is back letting us know that through it all, when all her “strength is gone, (she) look(s) to you.” Now while the “you” she refrences is not clearly defined by the song’s lyrics, whether she is referencing her diehard fans or God, it is clear that Whitney is out of her own personal hell, at least on the title track of her newest album to be released August 31st- I Look To You. We can’t wait to hear what she has in store for us next. Will there be another Grammy in her future? Who knows, but thanks Whitney for constantly entertaining us!
